Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension, reduces inflammation, reduces stress, gets you in better touch with your body and brain communication. It also creates a whole new way for you to look at breath not as an everyday thing, but a tool we have with us all the time.
A regular Yoga practice can reduce the risk of injury and condition your body to preform better at things you do everyday. It will increase your flexibility, give you better lung function, longevity, endurance, & strength. Not to mention a healthy yoga practice will also help you manage stress of everyday life.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body. " There is no better place to forget about the world around you, then on your mat".

Hi, my name is Iva Dunlap.
I am a certified instructor registered with Yoga Alliance. I teach Vinyasa yoga classes (Yoga levels 1,and 2) that move you smoothly from one posture to another in connection with using your breath. I also teach Restorative and
Stretch and Move.
I started to practice yoga myself because I was preparing for meditation, my life was in a unbalanced place and I needed something positive to focus on. I loved yoga immediately! It moved me to a healthier, calmer, happier me!
I have been teaching for 4 years and always from a place where my heart feels good.
I have always looked at teaching as a way to help others get to that happier/ balanced place in their own lives.
200 hr Registered Yoga Teacher and Health Coach
After practicing for many years, I received my training through Yogaworks in 2012 and Yin certification in 2016. I have been teaching vinyasa style of yoga for the past 6 years and each year continue my education through workshops, online programs, and classes.
I also received my Health Coaching certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2016. I am autoimmune and have found ways to heal my body through nutrition, lifestyle changes and yoga. I work with clients with similar issues to help them find the path that best suits their health issues and life style.
Yoga, nutrition, and meditation play an important role in my life to keep me healthy and thriving. It is all part of my selfcare and I believe in sharing that care with others to help them on their journey.
I'm Amy Meloan Swift, I have several certifications from all over. It all started for me in CO. in 2013 with a Core Power certification. Then in 2017 I did a Yoga GLOW certification in Gulf Shores. After that in 2018 I worked more on Strength training certifications, and received my Sculpt and STRONG by Zumba certificates. In 2018 I also received a Crossfit flexibility certificate. In 2019 I am currently working on my Pre- K ~ 18 children’s certification. Hoping to start classes as soon as I finish for children.
I really just love a good workout/stretch, so my many back ground certifications are just a deeper knowledge of all the things I love to do. A healthy body and mind is a happy body and mind.
As a teacher my hope is to make you sweat as well as give you some inspiration while finding peace on your mat. My classes will give you balance on and off the mat and teach you that breathe is always a tool you have in any situation. Be prepped to work hard and have fun while you do it in my classes, they will never be the same and you will always feel like you worked out!
Debi began her yoga journey in as a teenager when she and her mom practiced along with PBS’s Lilia’s, Yoga and You. Later as an adult, when life threw a few curveballs, she turned to the healing and strengthening powers of yoga while practicing with local yogini Marcy Snodgrass. Inspired by the local yoga community Debi began teaching in 2013, attending 200hr RYT training in Jackson, TN. She attended advanced workshops with Kathryn Budig, and a Yin Yoga intensive with Michael Johnson.
Debi’s teaching style is nurturing, supportive and consistent with an enthusiasm for alignment and mindfulness. You will leave her class feeling like sunshine on a rainy day, awakened and restored.
“Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu. May all beings everywhere be happy
and free and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
This class is open to all levels and will help students develop strength, balance, and flexibility while giving them tools to help manage their stress. Yoga 1 is a practice which links breath to movement. Yoga 1 generates heat with your breath and can add a cardio component, but students are instructed to move at their own pace with modifications when appropriate.
Vinyasa or Flow style class where breath is linked to movement.

This class will totally amp up your practice, and your cardio! Get your body sweating and your muscles loose. More inversions and arm balances will be practiced as well as challenging yourself with keeping your breath in control in every pose. These Asana's move at a faster pace.
This class blends the two styles of yoga into one practice. We'll begin with an all levels flow working on muscles and blood flow, building strength and flexibility. Then ease into a yin practice holding asanas for several minutes, usually seated or lying down. Yin yoga targets joints, connective tissue, ligaments and fascia. The best of both worlds! You'll leave feeling refreshed, restored and rejuvenated.
We will begin class with a nice gentle flow, that will last about 25-30 minutes. This will warm up the muscles slowly and comfortably. Then we will use tennis balls to work out tension in the muscles, and end with a pranayama (breathing exercise). The perfect class to kick off your weekend. ALL LEVELS WELCOME!
Our classes are accessible to all bodies. We have so many props at our disposal and our instructors are able to guide you no matter where you are in your practice. All levels are welcome to any class any time. So, what are you waiting for come on in and try it out!
This is just like the Yoga 1/2 above. We just add a little heat!!
The room gets up to 98 degrees and you will sweat. Drink lots of water and bring a towel, you will need it.
We also might incorporate a wheel into this class at certain points.
This is your bodies time to get loose due to the heat and go deeper into poses. Great for athletes and people who love to sweat! Warm muscles are happy muscles.
